One word amazing , service , food , drinks absolutely top notch, Zane took care of our table and he is the best from food and drinks recommendation to remember from reservation it’s our anniversary .. next time we go back we will definitely request a table in his section ! Drinks are delicious try the last samurai and Wagyu fat washed old fashion !! Must try the yakatori .. pork belly and American Wagyu is chef kiss !! They serve dry aged fish .. it is just so good .. And finish off with black sesame ice cream and waffles.. Definitely we will go back there ..

First timer last night, and this spot is absolutely incredible! The food, the service… everything was top notch. Giovanni was a fantastic server, and Joe, the GM, truly went above and beyond to make sure our experience was wonderful. We’ll definitely be returning on a regular basis. This is a great sushi restaurant with high quality ingredients. The miso was rich in flavor with mushrooms, seaweed, and tofu. The ginger salad was crisp and the dressing was great. The sushi was high quality, fresh and prepared well. The waitress did have a bit of a mishap at our table but handled it so gracefully and the GM came over to make sure everything was okay. Pro team ensuring a great experience!

An absolutely incredible dining experience from start to finish. The cocktails were fantastic—we tried the Purple Rain and Lemon Cake. They were flavorful, creative, and perfectly balanced. The sushi was beautifully presented with impressive attention to detail, from the fresh wasabi and housemade soy sauce to the dry-aged fish. Even the daily milled rice which seems like something so small, makes the biggest difference in the bite and flavor of the nigiri. The real highlight, though, was the yakitori—easily the most authentic we’ve had in the Tampa or Orlando area. Once you’ve been to Japan you always chase finding that same flavor/experience again and Rio Izakaya hits the mark! Every skewer reflected serious care and love for the art that is Yakitori. The service was excellent, with Zain offering great insight into the menu and preparation. We also loved talking with the owner and hearing about the passion behind the restaurant. A++ Service! One of the best dinner experiences we’ve had in a long time—we’ll definitely be finding any reason to come back!

Hands down the best Japanese cuisine! Just visited with my wife and had a great experience. The food was excellent, especially the yakitori, Japanese style grilled with world best charcoal (Binchotan). The dry aged fish sashimi (king salmon we had) is also awesomely delicious and special. The cocktail Samurai’s Last Wish was also really good, beautifully balanced. Definitely recommend!
